End of the Game
The game ends ...
... in the case of two players as soon each player has been Capt'n
Look three times.
... in the case of three or four players as soon as each player has been
Capt'n Look twice.
The player whose sailor peg has been moved furthest on the counting
strip collects the most points and wins the game. In the event of a draw,
there are multiple winners.
Variation for Pirates
Play according to the rules of the basic game taking into consideration
the following changes:
You need the pirates' coin.
Before Capt'n Look yells the starting signal “Treasure ahoy!”, he
places the coin close to any treasure card placed on the map. This card
is the pirate's treasure card and the treasure shown may not be
named later by the sailors.
After the hour glass has run through, Capt'n Look turns over the
pirate's treasure card and puts the coin on top. Then he takes the
remaining treasure cards and keeps them in his hand.
If a sailor names the treasure on the hidden pirate card he/she has to
drop out of the round.
Variation for Professionals
The game can become more difficult if instead of eight cards,
you distribute perhaps ten cards on the sea map. How good is your
pirate memory?
end = each player
has been Capt'n
Look three times or
twice
most points = victory
