Folgende technische Daten sind für die Auswahl des richtigen Sägebandes wichtig.
Die Länge, Breite und Dicke des Sägebandes. Ebenso die Form der Zähne, sowie
die Anzahl der Zähne. Schmale Sägeblätter eignen sich für gebogene Schnitte
oder Schnitte nach Vorlage, breite Sägeblätter für gerade Schnitte. Die Zähnezahl
wird im Verhältnis zur Holzdicke und Holzart gewählt: je größer die Dicke, umso
geringer die Zähnezahl, für einen besseren Ausstoß der Späne, um ein Verklemmen
oder Überhitzen des Sägeblatts zu vermeiden. Für große Dicken ist das Schränken
zweimal so groß wie die Sägeblattdicke, für geringere Dicken sollte das Schränken
1,5-mal so groß wie die Sägebanddicke sein. Ist das Sägeband unzureichend
scharf, muss das Sägeblatt umgehend ausgewechselt werden.
Das Sägeblatt kann für die Aufbewahrung zusammengelegt werden (siehe Abb.29).
Bei der Handhabung des Sägeblatts robuste Handschuhe verwenden und die
Federwirkung berücksichtigen. Um eine Oxidation zu vermeiden, dürfen die

7.8 SCHWEISSEN DES SÄGEBLATTS
Fehlerhafte Schweißnähte können zu Vibrationen der Maschine führen. Die
Hauptursachen für einen Sägeblattbruch sind:
1 Fehlerhafte Schweißnähte.
2 Sägeblatt zu stark gespannt, Gegenfeder zu stark gedrückt, nicht harmonisiert.
3 Korkoberfläche nicht völlig sauber.
4 Sägeband unzureichend geschärft bzw. Das Sägeband ist unregelmäßig
geschränkt.
5 Position der Sägeblattführungen nicht korrekt (zu starke Reibung am Band).
6 Veränderung der vier Feststellschrauben der unteren Rollenwelle.
7 Die Neigung der oberen Rolle ist wegen der Sägeblattpositionierung unregelmäßig.
8 Verformte Korkbeschichtung der Sägeblattrollen.
Bei Brüchen sind Schärf- und Schweißarbeiten von fachkundigen Arbeitern
durchzuführen.
