General safety instructions
Safety notice! Failing to follow these
instructions can cause an injury to you
or other persons.
1. Read the following Operating Instructions
for using the pneumatic appliance and
follow the safety instructions for using the
pneumatic appliance.
2. ALWAYS wear approved protective
glasses, earphones and a respirator.
3. Take off your watch, rings and other
disturbing items. Loose clothes or jewellery
can get caught in the compressor and can
lead to serious injuries.
4. Use hose piping.
5. The control lever MUST be in the “OFF“
position if the appliance is connected with
the air supply.
6. Disconnect the appliance from air supply if
not used. NEVER replace any parts of the
accessories or SERVICE them if the
appliance is connected with the air supply.
7. Ensure a safe distance. Make sure you
did not lose balance.
8. Ensure that your hands could freely
move while working on the appliance
to be able to execute the work safely.
9. Use the appliance only at a speed for
which it has been designed.
10. Properly maintain the appliance and
follow all instructions for appliance
lubrication and maintenance.
11. Do not damage the hoses and
connecting pieces by carrying the
appliance with its hose or by
disconnecting the hose from the air
supply by pulling. Prevent the hose
from coming into contact with high
temperatures, oil and sharp edges.
The hose should be replaced if
damaged or worn out.
12. Store cleaning cloths and other
combustible materials in secured metal
containers. The containers must be
disposed according to local, national or
regional regulations.
13. NEVER operate the appliance with an
air pressure higher than 9 bar. Use the
pressure regulator that will reduce the
air pressure to 6 bar.
14. ALWAYS work with the appliance in a
safe distance from people and
animals.
15. Make sure the speed of turning of
accessory parts corresponded to the
speed of turning of the eccentric
grinding machine or was higher.
Before starting
Air supply
Important information on the appliance can be
found in model specifications.
Lubricate the appliance before putting it
into operation (see the Maintenance).
Assembly
Always disconnect the hose for air supply
before assembly or disassembly of grinding
wheels and extensions.
1. Assemble the wheel with an emery paper
on the eccentric grinding machine
extension by sticking the wheel with an
emery paper on the round extension of the
grinding machine (grinding wheels with a
Velcro fastener can be received at Güde
as accessories).
NOTICE: Before storing the eccentric
grinding machine, remove the used wheels
with an emery paper as removing of a
used emery paper after a longer period of
time is very difficult.
2. Connect the exhaust hose to the exhaust
throat.
