Failures – causes - removal
(problem): Engine does not start
(cause):
1. No system voltage
2. Blocked pump wheel
(measures):
1. Check the voltage
2. Inspect the pump wheel for foreign
objects
(problem): Pump does not suck
(cause):
1. Pump without water
2. Water level too low
3. Blocked pump wheel
(measures):
1. Let the air bubbles release (pic. D)
2. Switch the pump off, water level
must go up.
3. Remove the obstruction
(problem): Insufficient amount of water pumped
(cause):
1. Dirty tube filter
2. Water level quickly going down
3. Maximum head of delivery exceeded
4. Transport guide broken
(measures):
1. Clean the tube filter
2. Ensure sufficient inflow
3. Check the transport path length
4. Check the transport guide
(problem): Thermal detector switching the pump
off
(cause):
1. Dirty tube filter
2. Water temperature too high
3. Pump running continuously at
maximum pressure.
(measures):
1. Clean the tube filter and let the
pump cool down
2. Reduce the water temperature
3. Make more breaks
Inspections and maintenance
Except for the below-described cases, the pump must be
delivered to the customer service department for any repairs.
Sand and other abrasive solids cause premature wear and
pump power reduction. Works on the pump electric
equipment can explicitly be executed by the customer service
department. Oilless bearings. Occasional filter support
cleaning is enough, no other maintenance is necessary.
Original spare parts must only be used in any case.
To ensure long service life of the pump seal, we
recommend rinsing the pump with clean water in regular
intervals.
Safety instructions for inspections and maintenance
It is always necessary to interrupt feeding (plug pulled out of
socket) and make sure the pump is not going to start before
any pump maintenance. Only a regularly maintained and
treated appliance can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insufficient
maintenance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and
injuries.
