Important notice : If the pump is to be out of operation for a longer time, it is unconditional to empty the piping and the
pump body . The pump should be protected against frost. The pump may be put on storage only after the water is drained
completely.

The motor will not start
up
No voltage in the system.
The pump wheel blocked.
Check on voltage.
Turn the motor shaft through the fan cover with the
screwdriver (put the glued sliding ring seal free).
The pump will not suck
Foot valve missing, it does not seal or is clogged
Foot valve is not in water
The suction head too high.
Bubbles of air in suction piping.
The connection is uptight, the pump will draw air
in, the pump is no de-aerated.
Fit on or clean the foot valve.
Dip the suction valve in water.
Fill in the pump body.
Check on suction head.
Check on the suction piping tightness.
Repeat the connection shown in Chapter Putting in
Operation again and carefully.
Insufficient amount of
water to be pumped
Suction head too high.
The foot valve suction strainer is polluted.
Water level is dropping fast.
Check the suction head.
Clean the suction strain.
Put the foot valve deeper.
Clean the pump and remove worn parts.
The pump is switched
off by heat switch
Heat load protection has put the pump off since it
was overheated.
No current.
Dirt particles (such as small stones) set in the
suction hole.
Let the unit cool down.
Dismantle and clean the pump, see that no dirt is
possible to be sucked in.

Except for the cases described below, the pump should be sent for any repair to the customer servicing.
