Initial Operation Safety Instructions
Always keep the cable are a sufficient distance
from the band saw rotating parts.
Switch the saw off if you want to go away from your
workplace. If the saw appears to be blocked, gives
strange sound, switch it off and unplug
immediately.
Prevent any accident by wearing personal
protection equipment such as goggles, ear
protectors, safety gloves and safety shoes.
Use only accessories and additional instruments
included in the machine operating manual. Use of
accessories other than those recommended in the
manual may be a risk of injury for you.
Repairs should be done by a professional
electrician only. .
Before cutting wood, make sure that no metal
elements are left in the cutting line (nails, screws
etc.) Metal elements have to be removed before
sawing.
Do not work material thicker than 150 mm
(maximum cutting height).
Keep your fingers and hands at a safe distance
from the saw band.
Set up and adjust only when the machine is not
connected to the source. Unplug it!!
Do not remove protection covers from the machine,
do not operate it with doors open.
Locking/stop elements must be secured against
unintentional change of setting.
Hold the material worked safe and work with even
thrust.
Use only genuine saw bands. Do not use damaged
or deformed bands.
CAUTION!
Immediately unplug the machine when cable, plug or
safety devices are faulty, in case of smoke or burdening
insulation material smell. Switch the machine off when it
gives unsual sounds.
Procedure
Mind the mains voltage data. The source data must conform
with those on the plate. 230 V Instruments may be operated
on 220 V mains. The machine may be connected only to a
properly grounded socket (neutral connection). Make sure
that the mains switch is off when the machine is being
connected to the mains. After initial switching on, let the
machine idle for several seconds. Switching on and off with
the left-hand button in front (symbol „I“ and „0“ see Fig. 18).
CAUTION
Observe the safety regulations shown, particularly those
on protection work clothing!

A Loosen the horizontal stop lock and push it in
the required position as read on the scale
using an index glass. Secure again.
B Loosen the screw on angular stop, shift it in the
required position and secure again.

To centre the table in relation to the
blade, loose the nuts under the table
Move the table sidewise until the blade is
centred in the machine table gap.
Retighten the nuts.
