6 TP-IS (radio mode)
If you are in a reception area in which
reception of RDS programmes with traffic
announcements is poor, you can disable
the automatic station search function in
radio mode.
"TP-IS ON" Automatic traffic radio station
search on.
"TP-IS OFF" Automatic traffic radio station
search off.
ǺǺ If the volume is set below "VOL 4", the
"TP-IS ON" setting is supposed.
7 Autom. change of regional programmes
If an RDS programme consists of various
regional programmes, it may occur that
your car radio changes between regional
stations when changing the reception area.
"REG ON" Autom. change of regional
programme is possible.
"REG OFF" Autom. change of regional
programme is not possible.
8 Switching on and off with the
ignition/start switch
"IGN ON" It is possible to switch the radio
on and off with the ignition/start
switch of the vehicle.
"IGN OFF" Switching on and off is only
possible with the
¡
IO
button.
9 Muting in telephone mode
"PHONE ON" Muting activated.
"PHONE OFF" Muting deactivated.
ǺǺ The telephone mute signal must be applied.
ßI MCD (AUX) input sensitivity
to adjust the sensitivity to a CD changer.
"MCD LOW" = low
"MCD MID" = medium
(e.g. MCD 36/MCD 40)
"MCD HIGH" = high
ß? Volume limitation when switching on
"ON VOL - -" no limitation
"ON VOL 20" max. volume, e.g. 20
(setting range:
- - (0) … 46).
The volume is limited only if the volume
when the car radio is switched off is
greater than the set value!

The volume for the traffic announcement
can be heard during setting.
