Volume and Sound Settings
Example: Bass
Repeatedly and briefly press the

SOUND
button until the display indicates:
Press the r
VOLUME t buttons until the
bass tones are to your taste.
If you wish to instantly recover the default
setting:
Press the
¢¢
SOUND
button until the signal
sounds.
LOUD (Loudness)
The loudness function improves the sound
quality at low volume.
The function can be switched on and off from
the basic setting.
Volume
Use the
r
VOLUME t
buttons to adjust the
desired volume level.
The display indicates:
"VOL 00" … "VOL 46".
Sound
For each of the FADER, LOUD, BASS,
TREBLE, and BALANCE settings applies:
1. Select the desired function by briefly
pressing the
¢¢
SOUND button once or
several times.
2. Adjust the desired sound by pressing the
r VOLUME t buttons,
or
select the basic setting: press the
¢¢
SOUND
button until the signal sounds.
3. Terminate a setting: repeatedly press the
¢¢
SOUND button until the station selected is
displayed again.
ǺǺ After approximately 10 seconds, the con-
trol level with the current settings is left
automatically.
Press the
¢¢
SOUND button until two sound sig-
nals are heard. The display indicates
"LOUD ON" or "LOUD oFF".
FAD (Fader)
The fader function is used to alter the balance
between the front (”F”) and rear (”R”) loud-
speaker groups.
BAL (Balance)
The balance function is used to alter the
balance between the left (”L”) and right (”R”)
loudspeakers.
