TIMER PROGRAMMING

The Timer submenu
The »TIMER« submenu provides you with ei
ght timer positions for video recor-
dings.
With the help of the »Channel Lists« or the electronic programme guide EPG,
you can use desired TV and/or Radio services, and/or TV and Radio broad-
casts for timer programming.
Cur
rent broadcasts cannot be programmed for timer recording.
Select the desired service or broadcast. Certain programme data then is trans-
ferred in a fast way and without problems into the »Timer« submenu.
The remaining data is entered manually via the buttons on the remote control.
Note:
If you possess a GRUNDIG video recorder which is provided with the „SAT
CONTROL” function (see user manual of the video recorder), this will be able
to switch the satellite receiver on on the dot for the timer recordings.
The »VCR CONTROL « phono socket of the satellite receiver and the
corresponding phono socket of the video recorder must be connected via a
commercially available phono cable (cf. page 14).
Important:
The GRUNDIG video recorders SE 13xx, GV 31xx, GV 51xx, GV 61xx,
and SE 14xx, GV 32xx, GV 52xx, GV 62xx are equipped with the
Auto Sat recording (ASr) function. For this reason, this connection is not
required.
Switching on of the two units to the minute is effected by the satellite receiver.
The recording is controlled via the »EURO-AV« sockets of the two units.
- Please consult the user manual of your GRUNDIG video recorder.
- Observe the settings to be made on the video redorder and the satellite
receiver.
