Notes
You can stop the appliance at any time by pressing
the
button.
The drip-stop feature – located underneath the filter
basket – briefly enables you to remove the thermal
jug to pour coffee before the brewing process has
finished. However, make sure you place the thermal
jug back on the thermal jug stand within 30 seconds
or the brewed coffee will leak onto the stand.
To experience the fullest coffee flavour it must be
served at the perfect temperature. We recommend
that you warm the thermal jug with hot water. Once
the thermal jug is preheated, throw away the water
and place the thermal jug on its stand. Then start the
coffee making process.
Caution
Keep away from the hot steam that comes from the
steam vent during brewing.
12 When the coffee has finished brewing, wait until
you hear 3 beeps before removing the thermal jug

. To pour the coffee, press down on the lever
above the thermal jug’s handle

and start to
pour.
Notes
After brewing, coffee drips from the filter basket for
several seconds.
The thermal jug keeps coffee hot for approximately
1 hour.
13 Let the coffee maker cool down before making
another jug.
14 When you have finished with the coffee maker,
pull out the plug from the earthed wall socket.
Note
If you unplug the appliance you will need to reset
the clock when you plug it back in.
Making coffee settings – thermal jug
To grind and brew coffee
1 Make sure is not displayed on the LCD
screen. If it does appear, press auto to cancel it.
2 Press repeatedly to select low ,
medium or strong ground coffee.
3 Press repeatedly to select 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups.
4 Press to turn the coffee maker on. displays
when your coffee is being ground and brewed.
To brew coffee only
1 Make sure is not displayed on the LCD
screen. If it does appear, press auto to cancel it.
2 Press until appears on the screen to turn off
the grinder.
3 Press to turn the coffee maker on. displays
when your coffee is brewing.
Notes
Make sure the amount of water you put in the water
tank matches the number of cups you have selected.
Too much water will make weak coffee as the water
tank uses all of the water you put in it.
When you switch off the grinder, the number of
cups and the coffee strength will not display on the
LCD screen.
