WIEDERGABE EINER MP3-CD

Merkmale der MP3-CD
MP3 steht für MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3 und kommt aus dem Motion Picture Expert
Group (MPEG) Standard, der zum Komprimieren von Filmdaten entworfen
wurde.
Durch das MP3-Format ist es möglich, Audio-Dateien in beinahe CD-Qualität
auf einem Computer abzuspeichern. Dabei wird nur ca. 10% der
ursprünglichen Datenmenge benötigt. Standardmäßig werden MP3-Dateien mit
einer Bitrate von 128 kbps encodiert. Grundsätzlich gilt, je höher die Bitrate
einer MP3-Datei ist, desto besser ist die Klangqualität.
Im Internet sind die meisten MP3-Files mit 128 bzw. 160 kbps encodiert.
160 kbps wird schon als CD-Qualität eingestuft.
MP3-Dateien können auch aus dem Internet herunter geladen und dann auf CD-
Rom gebrannt werden. Ihr DVD-Player ist in der Lage, das sog. ID3-Tag aus
dem Datei-Header – welches Informationen über Titel und Interpret enthält –
auszulesen und diese im Info-Menü/in der Status-Anzeige anzuzeigen.
MP3-CDs enthalten Tonaufnahmen. Sie können – wie gewohnt – über eine
Audio-Anlage wiedergegeben werden. Die bei der MP3-Wiedergabe
ausgegebenen Digitalsignale sind PCM-codiert, unabhängig von der Einstellung
des Audio-Ausgangs. Die Signale werden mit derselben Datenrate wie die der
Musikquelle ausgegeben (möglich sind: 32 kbps – 320 kbps, ideal: 128 kbps).
MP3-Daten können in Alben (Directories) und Files – ähnlich wie Ordner und
Dateien in einem PC – organisiert sein.
Wiedergabe
1 Nach dem Schließen der Disc-Schublade und dem „Einlesen” der MP3-CD
wird der Datei-Browser (das Inhaltsverzeichnis) der MP3-CD angezeigt.
