THE SATELLITE CHANNELS

The manual satellite channels scan
In contrast to the transmission of analog satellite signals, no own transmission
frequency is assigned to each TV or radio channel, but several satellite channels
are assigned to one transponder (carrier).
The manual scan explores the current transponder for all transmission data of its
satellite channels.
For information about which transponder data transmits which channels can be
called up via the teletext pages of various TV stations (e.g. SAT1 or 3SAT), via
the Internet, or they can be found in a current satellite magazine.
1 Display the »Main Menu« on the picture screen using the »

2 Select the »Installation« row using the »

« buttons then press the
»OK« button.
– The »Installation« menu appears on the picture screen.
3 Select the »TP-Edit/Scan« row using the »

« buttons then press the
»OK« button.
– The »TP-Edit/Scan-Digital« menu appears on the picture screen.
4 Select the »Satellite Name« row using the »

« buttons then select the
desired satellite, e.g. ASTRA, using the »

5 Select the »TP Frequency« row using the »

« buttons then select the
desired transponder frequency using the »

« buttons.
Note
The following »Polarization« row indicates the corresponding polarization,
»Horizontal – 18V« or »Vertical – 14V«.
The next »Symbo Rate« row informs you about the required symbol rate
(MSPS = Megasymbols per second) of the selected transponder.
