The satellite receiver’s interface for the reception of
encrypted satellite channels
With this satellite receiver DTR 6001 S CI in connection with appropriate
CA modules (CA = Conditional Acces) certain “encrypted” and all “free”
satellite channels can be received and processed.
The satellite receiver DTR 6001 S CI is equipped on its front panel with a
Common Interface compartment for two CA modules.
It is possible to insert into these CA modules the smart cards purchased from
Pay-TV providers to enable the access to the desired encrypted satellite channels.
The smart cards comprise all necessary access and channel data.
Please contact the Pay-TV providers if you are interested in Pay-TV channels.
Important!
You alone are responsible for the use of the smart cards.
Store the smart card as well as your PIN code in a safe place if it is not
used.
Please also observe the operating instructions of the Pay-TV provider.
Follow these steps:
1 Switch the satellite receiver of

2 Insert the CA module into the compartment (1 or 2) of the satellite receiver.
3 Switch the satellite receiver on again.
