The digital receiver is set at the factory so that it is ready for opera-
tion after you connect it. The precondition is a functioning digital
antenna system.
You only need to correct the local time difference, select the menu
language (default »German«) and then perform a station search.
1 Switch on the television and select the AV input for the digital
receiver.
2 Press »
Ǽ« to switch on the digital receiver from standby mode.
The menu
This digital receiver has a very comprehensive, user-friendly menu
system. The menu is displayed on the television screen.
The digital receiver responds to many functions which you select on
the remote control with informative menus and icons on the tele-
vision screen.
It enables you to select many different settings and contains infor-
mation on using your digital receiver.
The main menu contains the most important controls for your digital
receiver. Its menu system controls the dialogue between you and the
digital receiver.
Press »MENU« to open the main menu. Press »VOL – a« or
»VOL + s« to select the main menu item you want and then press
»OK« to confirm. You can navigate in the menu with »CH + A«
or »CH – S« and select the item you want in the left column. The
selected item is highlighted in colour.
When you press »OK« to confirm your selection, a sub-menu
appears in the right column. Here too, you can navigate with
»CH + A« or »CH – S« and select the item you want. The
selected item is highlighted in colour. Press »OK« to confirm or
make the settings using »VOL – a« or »VOL + s«.
The menu will tell you whether you can quit it by pressing »EXIT«
or must first save the setting by pressing »OK«.
Press »EXIT« to quit the current menu level.
