Caution! The saw can re-oil.
Please note that the saw re-oils after use
and oil may leak out if it is stored on its side
or on the head. This is a normal process
due to the necessary ventilation opening
on the upper edge of the tank and does
not constitute a reason for complaint. As
each saw is checked during production and
tested with oil, a small residue may be in
the tank despite draining, which may slightly
dirty the housing with oil in transit. Please
clean the housing with a cloth.
Assemble the blade
1. Place the saw on a at surface.
2. Turn the xing screw (15) anti-
clockwise to remove the chain
wheel cover (16).
3. Place the blade (5) on the rail
bolts so the tensioning screw (21)
points outwards.
Assemble the saw chain
1. Spread the saw chain in a loop,
so the cutting edges face clock-
wise (6).
2. Place the chain around the chain
cog (22) and insert into the blade
groove. It is normal for the saw
chain to sag.
3. Pretension the chain by turning
the tensioning screw (21) clock-
wise.
4. Attach the chain wheel cover
(16). Here, the lug on the cover
must initially be inserted into the
notch provided on the device for
this purpose (23). Tighten the x-
ing screw (15) only slightly, as the
saw still has to be tensioned.
