1. Switch o the saw and remove the
battery from the device
2. Remove the sprocket chain wheel
covering (15), the saw chain (5) and
the chain bar (4).
3. Check the chain bar (4) for wear. Re-
move burrs and straighten the guide
surfaces with a at le.
4. Clean the oil passages (
I
26) of the
chain bar, in order to guarantee a
trouble-free, automatic oiling of the
saw chain during operation.
5. Mount chain bar (4), chainsaw (5) and
sprocket chain wheel covering (15)
and tighten the chainsaw.
Turning over the bar (4) requires you to
move the tensioning screw (
F
22) to the
other side of the bar. Unscrew the retain-
ing bolt attaching the bar to the tensioning
screw. Move the tensioning screw over
to the other side of the bar and screw the
retaining bolt back in.
With the oil nozzles in good condi-
tion and the oil regulator set cor-
rectly, the saw chain will spray a
little oil o after starting.
Turning the blade
The blade (4) must be inverted every 8-10
working hours in order to guarantee even
wear.
If the blade (4) is turned around, the ten-
sioning screw (23) must be re-tted to the
other side of the blade:
1. Remove the chain wheel cover
(15), the sawing chain (5) and the
blade (4).
2. Release the xing screw (23a),
which connects the blade (4) to
the tensioning screw (23).
3. Position the tensioning screw
(23) on the other side of the bla-
de and re-tighten the xing screw
(23a).
The round lug (23b) of the tensi-
oning screw must point towards
the chain sprocket.
4. Assemble the blade (4), the
sawing chain (5) and the chain
wheel cover (15) and tension the
sawing chain.
