Use as a grass trimmer
• Grass is best cut when dry and not
too long.
• Working with the telescopic arm and
wheels makes working with the grass
shear comfortable:
Slowly push the device on the wheels
over the oor. By doing so, you will
achieve an even cutting height.
Use as a hedge trimmer
• Move the unit forward evenly.
• The double-sided cutting heads en-
able cutting in both directions or by
swinging the unit from side to side.
Inserting/replacing the blade
Prior to each exchange of the
blades, make sure the device is
switched o and the safety key
(6) and in order to avoid danger
and injuries!
Remove blade:
1. Hold down the ribbed button (29)
on the bottom of the unit and sli-
de the blade cover (12) towards
the hand grip . Lift the bla-
de cover.
2. Remove the complete knife.
Insert grass shear blade
1. Place the movable knife plate
(32) on the grass shear blades
(25): There are two markers
(33). One on the blade plate and
the other on the non-moving
shear plate (34). These have to
match.
2. Before inserting the grass shear
blade place the knife drive (30)
top speed. Die Betriebsanzeige
(1) leuchtet rot.
4. In order to switch o, let go of
the on/o switch (8/15).
After switching the unit o, the
blades take a short time to stop
moving. Let the blades come
to a complete standstill. Do not
touch the moving blades and
do not try to stop them moving.
Injury hazard!
General working instructions
While trimming, take care that
there are no objects such as wire,
metal parts, stones etc. come into
contact with the blades. This can
lead to cutting head damage. If the
blades become blocked by solid
objects, switch o the unit at once.
• Only use sharp blades to achieve a
good cutting performance and pre-
serve the battery.
• Do not work the unit so hard that it
comes to a standstill.
• Pay attention to the instructions on
unit maintenance and cleaning. .
Adjusting the working angle
For a comfortable edge cut, the cutter head
(2) can be rotated by 90° to the right or left.
1. Operate the lever (3) and turn
the cutter head (2) into the
desired position.
2. Release the lever (3), the cutter
head locks into place.
