La cuisson des aliments sur un kamado est une
méthode de cuisson ancienne. Il y a environ
3000 ans, en Chine, les gens ont commencé
à cuisiner dans de grandes marmites en
céramique. Les barbecues kamado tels que nous

il a rapidement gagné en popularité. Depuis 2007,
le barbecue kamado est disponible en Europe.

Ce qui distingue un kamado d’un barbecue
normal, c’est sa polyvalence. Grâce à la bonne
isolation de la céramique et à une régulation très
précise de la température, il est possible d’utiliser
un kamado pour une très large sélection de
techniques de cuisson. Avec le kamado et les

normal, vous pouvez aussi faire des cuissons
lentes, fumer à chaud et à froid, braiser, cuire
des pizzas et utiliser une rôtissoire. Les plats
