•Never overll the charcoal basket. This can cause serious injury as well as damage
to the grill. A maximum of 1.6 kg. charcoal is recommended for this barbecue.
•Dispose of cold ashes by placing them in aluminum foil, soaking with
water and discarding in a non-combustible container.
•Be careful while using this barbecue. DO NOT bump into the barbecue to avoid
personal injury, damage to the barbecue, or spills/splashes of hot cooking liquid.
•Be careful when removing food from the barbecue. All surfaces are HOT and can cause burns.
Use protective gloves/oven mitts or long, sturdy cookware for protection from hot surfaces
or splashes of cooking liquids. To prevent burns, always keep your face and body at a safe
distance from the product. During use, steam and hot air will rise from the barbecue.
•This barbecue features open re. Keep hands, hair and face away from the re. Do not
lean over the barbecue while lighting it. Loose hair and clothing can catch re.
•Do not block the airow of combustion or ventilation.
•Never leave HOT charcoal or ash or a hot barbecue unattended.
•Fuel should be glowing at least 30 minutes before use. Do not begin
barbecuing until a layer of ash has formed on the coals.
•Use protective gloves when handling the barbecue or working with re. Use
protective gloves or long, sturdy tools when adding wood or charcoal.
•Never overll the charcoal compartment. This can result in serious injury or damage to
the barbecue. Fill the space until it is about half full, carefully adding to it as needed.
•After the product has cooled completely, dispose of the cold ash in aluminium
foil, soak it in water and throw it in a non-combustible container.
