COMO RASTREAR CIRCUITOS SIN ENERGÍA
O EN CORTOCIRCUITO
Antes de enchufar el transmisor al circuito que se va a rastrear, usar
un medidor aprobado de voltaje, tal como el Greenlee 6706, 6708 ó
6709, para determinar el voltaje existente. Si el voltaje es menor que
300 voltios CA o CD, se puede continuar.
¡No conectar el PowerFinder si la energía excede de 300 voltios! Si se
conecta la unidad a un voltaje mayor de 300 voltios se causará daños
a la unidad.
IMPORTANTE
EJEMPLO 5
Circuito sin energía
Se puede rastrear un circuito sin energía, por causa de un cortacircuitos abierto o
un fusible quemado, utilizando el cable neutro del circuito sin energia.
1) Utilizar la energía de una batería de 9 voltios o mayor potencia y retornar a través
del neutro del circuito sin energia de la siguiente manera:
Conectar un cable del enchufe adaptador del transmisor a un cable de puesta a
tierra conocido y el otro cable a la bateria.
Conectar el otro lado de la batería al cable neutro del circuito sin energia usando
el cable de prueba provisto, como se muestra en la página siguiente.
