Removal tool for removing the baking tray or grill rack.
Before Initial Use
PLEASE NOTE!
The device has rubber feet. Some items of furniture are coated with materials which
could attack the rubber feet. If necessary, place a pad below the device for safety.
Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
1. Peel off any stickers and lms from the device.
2. The device may contain production residues. To avoid harmful effects to your health,
clean the device and the accessories thoroughly before using them for the rst time
(see the “Cleaning” chapter).
3. Place the device on a dry and heat-resistant at surface at a safe distance from am-
mable objects. Please make sure that the device is not accessible to children!
4. Plug the mains plug into a properly installed mains socket.
5. You should use the device for the rst time without any food in it, as it may produce
a small amount of smoke or odours due to coating residues. Allow the device to heat
up for approx. 10 – 15 minutes without any food in it. During this time, make sure the
room is well ventilated, e.g. with wide-open windows! Also note the tips provided in the
“Use” chapter when putting the device into operation.
6. Then allow the device to cool down completely and clean the bowl again.
Use
PLEASE NOTE!
Do not place food wrapped in cling lm or plastic bags into the device.
Do not place food containing fat or oil directly onto the rack so that the bottom heating
elements are not contaminated by fat / oil dripping down. Use the baking tray supplied
with the device!
Make sure that the food does not come into contact with the heating elements of the
device.
Always keep the glass door closed when the device is in use.
Always place the hot baking tray or the hot rack down on a heat-resistant surface.
Generally it is not necessary to preheat the device. However, for the
preparation of food which has to be ready “on the dot”, pre-heating is
recommended so that the exact time when the food has been cooked can
be determined.
