Notes on Cooking Time and Cooking Temperature
All of the stated cooking temperatures and cooking times are rough guidelines. The ac-
tual cooking times may vary depending on the origin, size, shape, brand of the food and
the portion size and the cooking temperature which is set. Make sure prior to serving that
the food is fully cooked through!
Homemade Chips
Ingredients:
2 large potatoes (waxy)
1 tbsp. cooking oil (to taste)
To taste salt
Preparation:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks of equal size.
2. Thoroughly wash the potatoes and then dry them off.
3. If you wish, add 1 tbsp. of oil to the potatoes and mix it in.
4. Cook the chips in the device (see “Use”):
Cooking temperature: 180°C
Cooking time: approx. 25 minutes (mix around after approx. 10 minutes)
5. The chips are cooked when they are golden brown. If necessary, adjust the
temperature or time if the chips are too dark or are not fully cooked after 25 minutes.
For an optimum result, mix the chips around fairly often.
Mix herbs and spices into the oil before adding it.
Depending on the variety, climate and growing conditions, the potato will display
differences in its shape, size, avour and quality. The cooking results can therefore
be different.
Coconut Prawns
Ingredients:
6 prawns (peeled and cleaned)
For the breadcrumb coating:
approx. ¼ cup our
approx. ¼ cup coconut akes
approx. ¼ cup breadcrumbs
1 egg white
Preparation:
1. Add the coconut akes and the breadcrumbs in a ratio of 1:1 to a small bowl and mix
together.
2. Pour the our into a separate small bowl.
3. Pour the egg white into another small bowl.
