history.
7. Search: Activation of the search processes.
8. Alarm/Channel: with this, you can switch alarm 1+ 2 on/off, switch
between the transmitters (1-4), select the temperature alarm value,
page through the animated bar chart (air pressure/inside tempera-
ture/outside temperature).
Buttons 9 and 10 are found in the battery compartment of the
transmitter.
9. SET: with this you reach the setting mode and confirm the values
that you have set.
10. C/F: with this, you change the channels and the house code (duri-

Inserting the batteries
Caution: Please insert the battery into the transmitter first (also
see Page 90)!
– With the transmitter, the holding frame must first be removed,
before the battery compartment becomes accessible. For this,
bend the holding frame open slightly on the transmitter and pull
off. Then, open the battery compartment with a small crosshead
screwdriver.
– The battery compartment of the weather station is found at the
top, on the reverse. Press the locking clip slightly on the grip recess
and swing the battery cover out.
– After inserting the batteries, close the battery compartments again.
1. Open the battery compartment on the weather station and on the
transmitter. For opening this compartment, you require a small
crosshead screwdriver.
Initial operation
Please note the +/- polarities shown in the battery compart-
ment when inserting the batteries.
2. Insert 2 type LR6/ R6/AA/UM3 batteries into the battery compart-
ment of the transmitter and 3 into the battery compartment of the
weather station. These batteries are included with your device.
The batteries for the weather station must be inserted in the fol-
lowing order:
First insert two batteries on the left and right in the compartment
and then insert the third battery in the middle.
NOTE: Do not use rechargeable batteries for this device. The
rechargeable battery voltage is lower than that of regular batteries
and may not be sufficient for ensuring reception. Only use brand-
name alkaline batteries.
Battery change display
A battery symbol on the display of the weather station indicates that a
battery change is necessary. A battery symbol also appears on the LCD
display of the transmitter when a battery needs to be changed. You will
also see the battery symbol on the display if the data of the correspon-
ding transmitter is being shown.
If one of these battery symbols should constantly flash, the respective
batteries will need to be replaced.
General information regarding setup
The weather station exchanges data with the transmitter on a radio
frequency (868 MHz). Televisions, computers, fluorescent tubes and
other electrical installations can impair reception. The reception can
also be disrupted by steel doors or window frames, as well as particu-
larly thick brickwork. Particularly low temperatures in the winter (below
0°C) can result in a voltage reduction of the batteries in the transmitter
and therefore lead to a reduced transmission range.
