8.3 Registration
Your handset and base station is pre-registered. Up to five handsets can be
registered to a single base station.
If for some reason, the handset is not registered to the base station ( flashes even
when the handset is near the base station), register your handset according to the
following procedure.
On the photo handset
On the Base: First place the base of the AMPLIDECT295 or AMPLIDECT COMBI 295
in Registration mode.
Replace photo handset back on the charging pod, the red LED flashes quickly to
indicate registration in process.
You will hear a confirmation beep when the registration process completes. It takes up
to 60 seconds to complete the registration.
Note: if the handset doesn’t arrive un registered, please follow this procedure:
Handset: Quickly press [VOL+] [SPK] [VOL-] [SPK] [VOL+] [VOL-] [SPK] in idle
mode, then HS will have a "Bi,Bi" tone.
On the standard cordless handset:
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select REGISTRATION.
2. If you have more than one base, press and / to select the base
number from BASE 1, BASE 2, BASE 3 and BASE 4. There will be a
behind the current registered base number.
3. Press to display “PIN?”, enter the 4-digit system PIN for the base
(default PIN is 0000).
4. Press and the display will show “WAITING”.
5. At the same time, press MENU/OK and / on the base to
select REGISTRATION.
6. Press MENU/OK to see “PLEASE WAIT” flashing on the base display. After a
short delay, if the registration is successful, there will be a confirmation beep,
and the handset display will go back to idle mode with the new handset number
shown. The base display will also go back to idle mode.
7. Press INT/MUTE/CLEAR at any time to cancel.
