8.2.5 De-register a Handset
You will need to enter the 4-digit system PIN code in order to de-register a handset
from the base station. (The default PIN is 0000.)
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select SETTINGS.
2. Press MENU/OK and / to select DELETE HS.
3. Press MENU/OK and you are requested to enter the 4-digit system PIN.
4. Enter the 4-digit system PIN.
5. Press MENU/OK and a list of registered handsets is displayed.
6. Press / to select one of the handsets that you want to de-register.
7. Press MENU/OK to confirm.
8.2.6 Set the Flash Time
The default flash time is best suitable for your country and network operator. It is
unlikely that you should need to change this setting unless advised to do so.
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select SETTINGS.
2. Press MENU/OK and / to select FLASH TIME.
3. Press MENU/OK and / to select the desired flash time (SHORT=100ms,
MEDIUM=300ms, LONG=600ms).
4. Press MENU/OK to confirm.
8.2.7 Set the Dial Mode
The default dial mode is best suitable for your country and network operator. It is
unlikely that you should need to change this setting unless advised to do so.
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select SETTINGS.
2. Press MENU/OK and / to select DIAL MODE.
3. Press MENU/OK and / to select the desired dial mode (TONE or PULSE).
4. Press MENU/OK to confirm.
8.2.8 Set the Key Tone
The key tone is a confirmation beep when you press any key. It is set on by default,
but can be turned off, if desired.
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select SETTINGS.
2. Press MENU/OK and / to select KEY TONE.
3. Press MENU/OK and / to select ON or OFF.
4. Press MENU/OK to confirm.
