Assembly and mounting of the indoor keypad:
1. Fix the battery holder to the wall using the two free corner holes (two holes have nuts
inserted for mounting the keypad) Make sure that the hole in the battery compartment is
at the bottom.
2. Remove the plastic front frame from the keypad by gently releasing the four latches at
the rear with a screwdriver.
3. Connect a 9V PP3 or equivalent E-block battery to the keypad and screw the keypad to
the battery holder, using the two M4 x 20 screws and the rubber gasket supplied, being
careful not to catch the battery cables.
4. Refit the keypad front frame using gentle pressure to latch it into place.
Assembly of the receiver module:
1. Put a screwdriver into the slot at the front of the housing and gently lever upward to
open the lid.
2. Remove the control PCB from the housing by releasing the latches with a screwdriver.
3. Locate the cable entry glands supplied and fit to the housing. Replace the PCB ensuring
that it latches firmly into position.
4. Drill the fixing holes, screw the housing mounting bracket to the wall and slide the hou
sing into position. If multiple receivers are used in the same installation they must be
mounted at a minimum distance of 1 meter apart.
5. The wires for the power supply enter through the right hand entry gland, those for the
relay contacts through the middle and the antenna cable trough the left one.
6. Connect the wires to the terminals according to the connection diagram.
7. If the receiver is installed in a metal or a heavily steel re-enforced concrete building the
range of the receiver may be reduced. If this occurs it will be necessary to install an out
side antenna to the receiver.
8. If multiple receivers are used in the same installation they must be mounted with a
minimum distance of 1 Meter between them.
