Description of the Appliance
Transmitters and Receivers
The self-learning remote control system DC 2-ECO is offered with a 2-channel or 4-channel
remote control transmitter, and a four channel indoor keypad.
The transmitters are programmed at the factory.
The Hopping Code security feature used in this system prevents access by unauthorised
transmitters. To operate the system it is only necessary to press and hold for a moment the
selected button on the remote control or indoor keypad.
Receiver & Transmitter Programming
Before the remote control can be used you first have to programme the individual transmitters
into the receiver. (Self Learning System)
First, to be sure that any previous programming is removed, press the button situated
on the receiver and keep it pressed for about 7 seconds until the lights (LEDs) on the
receiver illuminate. Immediately release the button and when the lights go
out the memory is completely cleared.
To program a new transmitter press the button on the receiver until the light starts to flash,
then immediately press any button on the transmitter and hold it until the light gives a
steady glow. Release the button and wait until the light stops flashing. The transmitter has
now been programmed into the receiver and is ready for function.
The first activation of the transmitter operates relay 2 for approximately
two minutes. This operation can be interrupted by activating the transmitter again
during the run time.
The second activation of the transmitter operates relay 1 for approximately two
minutes. This operation can also be interrupted by activating the transmitter
again during the run time. (e.g. Up - Stop Down - Stop)
