1. General
1.1 All main components can be replaced without removing the
appliance from its installation.
1.2 Ensure the appliance and surrounds are cool before servicing.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THE GAS SUPPLY TO THE
APPLIANCE IS TURNED OFF AT THE ISOLATION
DEVICE BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER.
2. Removing the Door & Outer Casing
It will be necessary to remove the glass frame and steel
outer casing in order to access most components.
IMPORTANT: THE OUTER PANELLING AND
DECORATIVE TRIM OF THE APPLIANCE ARE MADE
FROM STEEL. TAKE CARE WHEN INSTALLING,
REMOVING AND STORING TO AVOID DAMAGING
THE OUTER CASING, HEARTH OR DOOR.
THE GLASS FRAME IS FRAGILE. TAKE CARE WHEN
HANDLING TO AVOID DAMAGE.
2.1 To remove the glass frame lift off the decorative steel trim,
see Diagram 1.

2.2 Remove the 8 screws holding the glass frame, see Diagram 2.
Take care to support the glass when removing the screws.

2.3 Remove the glass frame and place carefully to one side.
2.4 Carefully remove the top blanking plate and cast iron grille
and place to one side, remove the steel top, see Diagram 3.
If the unit has been connected to the top exit flue, it will be
necessary to lift the support the grille and steep top whilst
removing the outer steel casing.

2.5 Remove the 2 front panels as shown, see Diagrams 4 & 5.

2.6 Lift the right-hand decorative panel to disengage from its
locating brackets and remove from the appliance, see Diagram
6. It may not be necessary to remove the left-hand side.

This should allow full access to all major components.
2.7 Refit in reverse order.
