BEFORE USE
Each individual appliance is checked at the
factory but, for safety’s sake, you should check
carefully after unpacking that the appliance
has not been damaged during transport. If the
appliance appears to have been damaged,
contact the shop where you bought it, and
do not use it until it has been checked by an
authorised specialist.
Before use, check that you have removed all
packaging and transport material inside and
out.
The non-stick coating on the baking pan must
be cleaned before use.
Remove the baking pan from the baking
chamber.
Wipe the baking chamber and heating
element with a well-wrung cloth and dry
with a dry soft cloth.
Wash the baking pan in warm water with
a little detergent added. Dry the parts
thoroughly before replacing them.
USE
1. Remove the baking pan, and fit the
kneading paddle in the baking pan (unless
using a programme in which the dough is
not kneaded).
2. Place the ingredients in the baking pan.
The ingredients must be at room
temperature (18-23° C) and must be
added in the order given in the recipe!
Dried yeast must be added last and placed
in a small depression in the flour.
Sugar, salt and other spices should be
distributed evenly over the rest of the
ingredients.
3. Place the baking pan in the baking
chamber.
4. Close the lid.
5. Plug in.
6. Select the required programme using
the MENU button and the required crust
colour using the COLOR button.
7. Set the timer function, if required (see
below).
8. Press and hold the START/STOP button
for 0.5 seconds to start the programme.
The programme starts and the countdown
on the display begins.
Baking consists of the following processes:
kneading/resting, proving, baking and
keeping warm after baking has finished.
The active process is shown with a
symbol on the display next to the relevant
process.
During kneading, the appliance will buzz
as the kneading paddle rotates. This is
perfectly normal.
