Problem Possible Reason The Solution
The appliance is operating audibly,
but there are no bubbles of oxy-
gen produced.
The decanting bottle is overfilled
(more than 750 ml).
With more than 750 ml (3/4 litres, MAX filling
level) of wine in the decanting bottle, the pressure
provided by the pump of the appliance may not be
sufficient for pressing the oxygen into the wine. Do
not overfill the decanting bottle to avoid overloading
the air system of the appliance.
There are less then 150 ml of wine
in the decanting bottle.
With the filling level below the “min” marking (150
ml), the oxygen will only flow over the surface of
the wine. Fill 150-750 ml of wine into the decanting
bottle to ensure optimum functioning.
The central tube of the decanting
bottle is damaged or blocked.
Before filling, always check the decanting bottle for
any damage by holding it up to the light. Do not
use the decanting bottle if it is damaged
in any way to avoid severe injuries due to
splinters! Get in contact with your vendor or the
Gastroback Customer Care Center for replacement.
The sealing ring at the air nozzle
is damaged, missing, or not instal-
led correctly.
The sealing ring ensures that the oxygen can be
pressed into the wine. During cleaning, always ensu-
re not to damage the sealing ring (black rubber ring
protruding from the air nozzle of the appliance). Get
in contact with your vendor for examination and or
replacement.
The air intake opening is blocked. Immediately press the “Stop/Reset” button to stop
operation. Always ensure that the air intake opening
at the bottom of the appliance will not be blocked
by clothes, tissues or any other foreign object during
operation to avoid damage.
The external filter is blocked. Immediately press the “Stop/Reset” button to stop
operation. Check and replace the external filter by a
designated spare filter (see: “Replacing or Cleaning
the External Filter“).
A severe problem occurred. Contact an authorised service centre for examination
and repair.
You cannot close the battery
cover.
The battery is installed in wrong
orientation.
Install the battery according to the instruction in sec-
tion “Installing or Replacing the Battery”.
