• Operate the appliance in a clean, dust-free, fluff-free environment to
protect the air system from excess load. Additionally, there may be no
corrosive, and/or toxic vapour or dust to prevent harmful substances
from getting into your beverages, damaging the air system of the
appliance, and/or detracting from the taste of your wine. The decan-
ting bottle is made of glass and fragile. Do not place the decanting
bottle on hot surfaces (e.g. oven or stove). Ensure that the decan-
ting bottle will not be chipped or fall or roll down from the table
or counter. Do not poke in the interior of the decanting bottle to
avoid damage to the tube in the centre of the decanting bottle. To
avoid severe injuries and damage due to leakage and splinters or
shards, do not use the decanting bottle any more, when the decan-
ting bottle is damaged in any way (e.g. cracks, chipped edges) or
has been subject to inadmissible strain (e.g. mechanical load or
shock, extreme temperature variation). Risk of Explosion! Batte-
ries contain harmful substances and acids. Always ensure that the
battery terminals will not be sort-circuited via any electrically con-
ducting connection. Do not expose the battery to high temperature
(e.g. oven, direct sunlight, or fire). When replacing the battery,
always use the local collection facilities for exhausted batteries. Do
not attempt to open the battery.
• Do not place the appliance or any part of it on a range, or on or near
hot surfaces (e.g. burner, heater, or oven). Do not use the appliance
or any parts or accessories of the appliance with any other device or
for any other purpose than described in this booklet.
• During operation keep the appliance in an appropriate distance of
at least 10 cm on each side to any other objects. Ensure free access
at the front and top of the appliance and leave at least 50 cm of free
space above the appliance, to ensure unhindered access.
• Do not place any clothes or tissues or similar materials on or under
the appliance during operation, to avoid overheating, fire and electric
shock. During operation, always ensure that the air intake opening at the
bottom of the appliance will not be blocked to avoid overheating. Do
not place any heavy and/or sharp-edged foreign objects on or in the
appliance or any of its parts (e.g. decanting bottle), to avoid damage.
