Intended Use
The pole saw is designed for cutting branches, especially in hard to
reach areas.
Mounting the Guide Bar and the Saw Chain
Always wear protective gloves when mounting the saw chain (11). The
saw chain is sharp! When working on the saw chain pull the power
plug. There is risk of injury!
1. Place the attachment on a level
surface.
2. First remove the sprocket cover
(7) by screwing the inner ring of
the chain tensioner (8) counter
clockwise.
3. Slide the saw chain (11) around
the chain wheel and into the
slot of the guide bar (see below
picture).
Observe the right chain running direction; note the chain icon
on the housing. Make sure to correctly position the chain
links, so the links match the chain icon.
4. Re-attach the sprocket cover (7) on the motor housing and
turn the inner ring (8) of the chain tensioner clockwise to
slightly tension the guide bar.
