Assembly Assembly
1. Once the handles are set up as shown in Fig A,
remove the 2 x lower handle locking knobs
( + bolts, curved washers & circle washers) (11)
from your accessory bag (Fig B). Place the lower
handle in position to assemble by aligning the
2 x lower handle ends on the outer side of the
lower handle mounting plates (12).
2. Once in position, insert the bolt on each side
through the lower mounting plate (12) from the
inside of the mounting plate (12) through to the
outside of the lower handle (9) (Fig C).
NOTE: You may need to support the lower
handle to engage the bolt through as shown
in Fig C on the left.
3. Once the bolts are loosely in position, t the
plastic curved washer over the end of the bolt,
then the circle washer (Fig D), then screw the
lower handle locking knob over the plastic circle
washer and secure by turning clockwise until
tight and secure (Fig E).
4. Next select the desired position to set the height
of the full handle assembly. There are 3 positions
as shown in Fig F.
It is suggested to select the middle location
to start with. You can then raise or lower the
adjustment after you have seen the overall
height when the assembly is complete.
5. Rotate both of the forward rotating quick adjustment knobs (14) 90°
(Fig G). THESE ARE FIRM TO ROTATE, however, when you rotate these
knobs the location pin is drawn back into the handle. Align the pin with
the selected position (Fig F) and then rotate the forward rotating quick
adjustment knobs (14) 90°. The pin will locate in the selected hole. Repeat
for the opposite side.
Attaching the Upper Handle Bar
to the Lower Handle
With the lower handle (9) in position, the upper
handle bar (1) can now be secured in position.
IMPORTANT: Again ensure the cables are not
tangled or crossing over before applying the
upper handle bar (1).
1. Remove the 2 x upper handle locking levers
( + curved washer/s , circle washers & locking
knobs) (10) from your accessory bag (Fig H).
2. Align the ends of the upper handle bar (1) on
the external side of the lower handle (9) such
that the holes in the ends of the upper handle
bar (1) align with the holes in the top of the
lower handle (9).
3. Insert the upper handle locking lever (10) bolt
through the upper handle (1), then through the
lower handle (9). When in position repeat on
the opposite side to keep the upper handle bar
(1) sturdy in position (Fig I).
4. Apply the curved washer, circle washer and
locking knob on the internal side of the lower
handles (9), push the locking lever down
towards the handle bar, then tighten the
locking knob until secure (Fig J).
NOTE: Tension on the upper handle locking
lever/s (10) can be adjusted by rotating the
lever knob.
5. Apply the cable clip holder (13) (from your
accessory bag) on the lower handle to ensure
the self propel engagement cable (5) is secure
in position above the handle bar and not
tangled (Fig K).
