Inmaken
Maak voedingsmiddelen bij voorkeur direct in, nadat u deze heeft gekocht of geoogst. Worden de
voedingsmiddelen eerst nog enige tijd bewaard, dan neemt het vitaminegehalte af en kunnen deze gaan
gisten.
Gebruik uitsluitend fruit en groente van goede kwaliteit.
Controleer de weckpotten, rubberen ringen, klemmen en veren goed en maak deze goed schoon.
Desinfecteer de afgespoelde weckpotten voor het inmaken in de stoomoven gedurende 20 – 25
minuten op 100°C en 100% vochtigheidsgraad.
Open na afloop van de bereidingstijd de deur van het apparaat. Haal de weckpotten pas uit de
ovenruimte wanneer deze volledig zijn afgekoeld.

Ontsappen
Doe het fruit of de bessen in de schaal met gaten en plaats deze in de derde inschuifhoogte van
onderen. Schuif de schaal zonder gaten in de inschuifhoogte eronder om het vocht op te vangen.
Laat het fruit zolang in het apparaat totdat er geen sap meer uitkomt.
U kunt het fruit vervolgens in een theedoek nog verder uitpersen om de laatste sapresten te verkrijgen.
