12 POSSIBLE PROBLEMS AND

SOLUTIONS

12.1 NOTIFICATIONS IN THE DISPLAY:

• [ BABY CALL ]

You have enabled the ‘SOS call’ function, allowing

you to only dial one pre-programmed number. Refer

to paragraph 9.1 for more information regarding this

function

• [ NO LINE ]

This notification means that the wired phone isn’t

connected with the telephone network. Check

whether the plug has been accidentally removed

from the telephone socket or whether the cable is

damaged.

• [ LINE BUSY ] (Only for FX-5720)

This text appears in the display of the handset when

the other handset is in a call.

• [ REJECT ]

This message means you just tried dialling a number

you set as a barred number. For this function, see

paragraph 9.2.

• [ KEY LOCKED ]

The keypad is locked. Press and hold the * (asterisk)

button for 2 seconds to unlock the keypad. If this
