5.4 Onregelmatige hartslagdetector
Het symbool geeft aan dat tijdens de meting bepaalde onregelmatigheden in de polsdruk zijn
geconstateerd.
In dat geval kan het resultaat afwijkt van uw normale basisbloeddruk. Herhaal dan de meting.
Contacteer uw arts als het symbool voor onregelmatige hartslag vaker verschijnt.
Dit apparaat is een oscillometrische bloeddrukmeter die tijdens de meting ook de polsfrequentie
analyseert. Dit apparaat is klinisch getest.
Als zich tijdens de meting onregelmatigheden in de hartslag voordoen, wordt na de meting het symbool
voor onregelmatige hartslag weergegeven. Als het symbool vaker verschijnt (bijvoorbeeld meerdere
keren per week bij metingen die dagelijks worden uitgevoerd) of als het plotseling vaker dan gewoonlijk
verschijnt, raden wij de patiënt aan een arts te raadplegen. Het apparaat is niet ter vervanging van een
hartonderzoek, maar dient om onregelmatigheden van de polsdruk in een vroeg stadium te detecteren.
