5.3 Meetprocedure

1. Ga zitten in een stoel en plaats uw voeten vlak op de vloer.
2. Selecteer uw gebruikers-ID (A of B) en druk op de START/STOP-toets.
3. Strek uw arm naar voren op de tafel en blijf ontspannen, waarbij de palm van uw hand naar boven is
gedraaid. Zorg dat de arm de juiste positie heeft, om lichaamsbeweging te voorkomen. Blijf stil zitten
en praat of beweeg niet tijdens de meting. Nadat de manchet op de juiste wijze op de arm is
geplaatst en op de bloeddrukmeter is aangesloten, kan de meting beginnen:
a) Druk op de START/STOP-toets. De pomp begint de manchet op te blazen. Op het scherm wordt
voortdurend de toenemende manchetdruk weergegeven.
b) Nadat automatisch een individuele druk is bereikt, stopt de pomp en daalt de druk langzaam. De
manchetdruk wordt tijdens de meting weergegeven.
c) Wanneer het apparaat uw polsdruk heeft gedetecteerd, zal het hartsymbool op het scherm
knipperen.
d) Wanneer de meting is voltooid, worden de gemeten systolische en diastolische bloeddruk, alsmede
de polsdruk weergegeven.
e) De meetresultaten worden weergegeven totdat u het apparaat uitschakelt. Het apparaat schakelt
automatisch uit als er gedurende 60 seconden geen toets wordt ingedrukt.
f) Symbool zelfcontrole manchet ( )
Het symbool manchet correct ( ) wordt weergegeven als de manchet correct geplaatst is, anders
wordt het synbool manchet verkeerd ( ) weergegeven. Controleer de manchet opnieuw als het
symbool manchet verkeerd ( )bwordt weergegeven.
g) Symbool bewegingsfout ( )
Het symbool bewegingsfout ( ) wordt weergegeven als u uw lichaam beweegt tijdens de meting.
Verwijder de manchet en wacht 2-3 minuten. Doe de manchet weer om en meet opnieuw.
OPMERKING:
Positie van de patiënt:
1) Zittend. 2) Benen niet gekruist.
3) Voeten vlak op de vloer.
4) Rug en arm ondersteund.
5) Midden van de MANCHET ter hoogte van de
rechteratrium van het hart.
