Figure 6: Extension or removal of the guide rail

To remove the guide rail (point 2) or to extend it forwards, press the safety

button on the left side (point 1). Now you can remove the guide rail to the

front. To reconnect the guide rail firmly to the device after insertion, push the

safety button on the right side of the device (equivalent to point 1) back in.

Application

Correct handling

Keep your hands away from the sawing area. Do not reach under the workpiece. Contact with the

saw blade can cause injury. Only place the machine on the workpiece when it is switched on.

Otherwise, there is a risk of kickback if the saw blade jams in the workpiece.

When sawing, the footplate (fig. 1 point 2) must always rest against the workpiece. The saw

blade can jam and cause loss of control of the machine.

When the cut is finished, switch off the machine and do not pull the saw blade out of the cut until it

comes to a standstill. In this way, you can avoid setbacks, and the machine can be safely removed.

Only use undamaged saw blades that are in perfect condition. Bent or dull saw blades can

break, negatively affect the cut or lead to kickbacks.
