Notes on safety
Before ¿rst using the pressure cooker, please read
these instructions.
The pressure cooker and pressure cooker lid should be
cleaned thoroughly using hot water on each occasion
before use.
If after the ¿rst boiling, white spots should form on the
bottom of the pot, these are caused by extreme hardness
of the water.
These spots can easily be removed either using vinegar or
descaler. On no account should you use abrasive cleaners
or wire wool for cleaning. This also applies for cleaning the
stainless steel exterior.
Please check that the pressure-regulation valve and
the safety pin are freely moveable.
People not familiar with the use of this pressure cooker
should not be allowed to use it.
If you use this pressure cooker when children are in the
vicinity, please be particularly careful.
This pressure cooker may only be used for the purpose of
fast cooking, for which it was designed. It may only be used
as a «normal» saucepan without a lid. Please never use it in
a baking oven or in a microwave.
The pressure cooker may only be placed on the appropriate
KHDWLQJVXUIDFH for its size. When using full power to heat
it, always keep it under observation.
When using it on the an electric KHDWLQJVXUIDFH, the hotplate
must be less than or equal to the diameter of the pot.
When using it on a gas stove, the Àame ring must not exceed
the base diameter.
A too large gas Àame may damage the handles.
When using it on a ceramic KHDWLQJVXUIDFH, make sure the
bottom of the pot is clean and dry.
Never touch the outside of the pressure cooker during the
cooking procedure, as you may burn yourself.

Avant d’utiliser pour la première fois votre autocuiseur,
veuillez lire les instructions suivantes.
L’autocuiseur et son couvercle doivent être nettoyés à
fond à l’eau chaude avant chaque utilisation.
Si après le premier bouillonnement des taches blanches
apparaissent au fond de la cuve, cela signie que l’eau
utilisée pour le nettoyage est extrêmement dure.
Ces taches peuvent facilement disparaître avec soit du
vinaigre, soit du détartrant. Ne jamais utiliser de nettoyants
abrasifs ou de paille de fer pour nettoyer. Cela s’applique
également au nettoyage du revêtement extérieur en
acier inoxydable.
Vérier que le régulateur de pression et l’indicateur de
pression peuvent manœuvrer librement.
Les personnes qui ne sont pas familières avec l’utilisation de
cet autocuiseur ne devraient pas être autorisées à l’utiliser.
Si vous utilisez cet autocuiseur avec des enfants à proximité,
veuillez alors redoubler de prudence.
Cet autocuiseur ne doit être utilisé que pour des cuis-
sons rapides, ns pour lesquelles il a été conçu. Il ne peut
être utilisé qu’en tant que marmite « ordinaire » sans son
couvercle. Veuillez ne jamais le placer dans un four ou da
ns un four à micro-ondes.
L’autocuiseur ne peut être placé que sur une surface
de chauffe appropriée pour sa taille. Si chauffé à pleine
puissance, toujours garder l’autocuiseur sous surveillance.
Si utilisé sur une surface de chauffe électrique, la plaque
chauffante doit alors être de diamètre inférieur ou égal au
diamètre de la cuve.
Si utilisé sur une cuisinière à gaz, l’anneau de ammes ne
doit pas dépasser le diamètre de la base.
Une amme au gaz trop grande peut endommager les
poignées.
Si utilisé sur une surface de chauffe céramique, s’assurer que
le dessous de la cuve est propre et sec. Pousser ou traîner
l’autocuiseur à travers les éléments céramique peut gratter
la cuisinière.
Ne jamais toucher la surface extérieure de l’autocuiseur au
cours de la cuisson pour éviter les brûlures.
