12. Scan indien nodig de commentaarcode
of voer deze handmatig in en druk op
Enter.
Als er niet om een commentaarcode
wordt gevraagd, ga dan verder met
stap 13.
De meter kan ingesteld zijn op het scannen
of handmatig invoeren van een 1- of
2-cijferige commentaarcode.
Scan indien gevraagd de informatie in
vrije tekst of voer deze handmatig in en
druk op Enter.
Als er niet om het invoeren van vrije
tekst wordt gevraagd, ga dan verder met
stap 13.
De meter kan zodanig worden ingesteld
dat er informatie als vrije tekst kan worden
gescand of ingevoerd. Er kunnen maximaal
twee velden vrije tekst verschijnen.

9. Houd de teststrip met de contactstrepen
naar boven en steek de teststrip in de
teststrippoort tot dit niet verder gaat en
Strip ingevoerd wordt weergegeven.
Controleer voordat de teststrip wordt
ingebracht of de poortbeschermer op
zijn plaats zit en deze schoon en droog is.
Vervang de poortbeschermer zo nodig. In
het afleesvenster wordt Strip invoeren
afgewisseld met Glucose.
10. Breng een druppel bloed uit de vinger
van de patiënt, uit een transferpipet of
uit een spuit aan op het testvlak van de
teststrip.
Wanneer voldoende bloed is aangebracht,
piept de meter, wordt Monster goed
weergegeven en wordt de test automatisch
gestart. Raadpleeg het gedeelte Teststrips
in hoofdstuk 1 voor een gedetailleerde
beschrijving van het testvlak van de teststrip.
11. Wacht tot de meter het monster
geanalyseerd heeft en het testresultaat
weergeeft.
De meter telt af en geeft dan het testresultaat
weer. Als er tijdens de test een fout wordt
geconstateerd, dan wordt de test beëindigd
en wordt geen resultaat weergegeven. Vanaf
het begin van de test reageren de toetsen niet
meer op indrukken, tot de test voltooid is.
