Druk op 2 voor Bevestigen van de
patiënt-ID of op 1 voor ID opnieuw
invoeren.
Voer het geboortejaar in (bijvoorbeeld
‘63’ voor 1963 of ‘01’ voor 2001) en druk
op de Enter-toets.
Druk op Clear om de ID opnieuw in te
voeren. Als er cijfers zijn ingevoerd, dan
worden die door het indrukken van de
Clear-toets eerst gewist. De Clear-toets moet
mogelijk meerdere keren worden ingedrukt
om terug te keren naar het invoerscherm
Patiënt-ID in stap 4.
Druk op 2 voor Doorgaan met testen of
op 1 voor ID opnieuw invoeren.
6. Druk op de Scan-toets om de
streepjescode van de teststrip te scannen
of voer het lotnummer van de teststrip in
met het toetsenpaneel, druk daarna op
Enter.
Door de streepjescode te scannen wordt het
type strip vastgesteld, de meter gekalibreerd,
gecontroleerd of de vervaldatum niet
verstreken is, het gebruikte lot strips
geregistreerd en gecontroleerd of het lot door
uw instelling goedgekeurd is voor gebruik.
7. Als er Precision PCx Plus teststrips
worden gebruikt, kan het scherm
Monstertype verschijnen.
U kunt één van onderstaande opties
selecteren:
Druk op 1 - Arterieel/capillair of
druk op 2 - Veneus.
Gebruik de modus Veneus alleen voor
veneuze monsters die uit afgesloten buizen
afkomstig zijn en niet met lucht gemengd
zijn. Gebruik voor alle andere monsters de
modus Arterieel/capillair.
Als het scherm Monstertype niet wordt
getoond, ga dan door met stap 8.
8. Pak de folieverpakking van de teststrip bij
de inkeping vast, scheur de verpakking
open en haal de teststrip eruit.
Met schone, droge handen kunt u de teststrip
overal voorzichtig aanraken wanneer u de
strip uit de folieverpakking haalt om in de
meter te steken.
