WARNING: If the descaling is not performed the limescale can cause malfunctions not
covered by the warranty.
Do not use vinegar, lye, salt or formic acid because they may damage the machine.
Use only descaling agents suitable for co ee machines.
The descaling solution must be disposed of in accordance with the applicable laws
and regulations. Do not drink the liquid dispensed during the descaling process; the
machine can be used to make co ee when the descaling process is  nished.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
The warranty does not cover damage or malfunctions caused by:
- Failure to carry out periodic descaling.
- Operation with a voltage that di ers from the rating shown on the data plate “M” (see “Machine
parts”).
- Improper use or use that is not compliant with the instructions.
- Internal modi cations.
The warranty does not cover repair costs on machines that have been tampered with by unauthorized
service centres. In this case all costs are paid by the client. We suggest:
- not to wash the machine parts in the dishwasher;
- to keep the recovery trays clean.
Failure to observe these instructions may cause damage to the machine which is not covered by the
warranty.
WARNING:
It is advisable to keep the original packaging (at least for the duration of the warranty
period) in order to ship the machine to a service center for repair if necessary. Any damage
caused by transport without adequate packaging will not be covered by the warranty.
ATTENTION: Si le détartrage n'est pas e ectué le calcaire peut provoquer des dysfonc-
tionnements qui ne sont pas couverts par la garantie. Ne pas utiliser de vinaigre, lessive,
acide formique puisqu'ils endommagent la machine.
Utiliser uniquement des produits détartrants adaptés aux machines à café. La solu-
tion détartrante doit être éliminée conformément à ce qui est prévu par les normes en
vigueur. Ne pas boire le liquide distribué pendant le processus de détartrage; la machine
peut être utilisée pour la distribution de café uniquement quand le processus de détar-
trage est terminé.
LIMITATIONS DE LA GARANTIE
La garantie ne couvre pas les pannes causées par:
- un détartrage irrégulier.
- un fonctionnement avec un voltage di érent de celui indiqué sur la plaquette de données «M»
(voir la section «Parties de la machine»).
- une utilisation impropre ou non conforme aux instructions.
- des modi cations apportées à l'intérieur de la machine.
La garantie ne couvre pas les coûts des réparations sur des machines manipulées par des centres d'assis-
tance non agréés.
Ces coûts seront totalement à la charge du client. Il est conseillé de:
- ne pas laver les composants de la machine au lave-vaisselle;
- s'assurer que les bacs de collecte sont toujours propres.
La non observation de ces recommandations pourrait créer à la machine des problèmes non couverts
par la garantie.
ATTENTION:
Il est conseillé de conserver l'emballage original (au moins pendant la période de garantie)
pour l'éventuel envoi de la machine aux centres d'assistance agréés. Les éventuels dommages
dus au transport sans un emballage approprié ne sont pas couverts par la garantie.
