Turn on the machine: within 15 seconds from
power on, press and hold the button until
the machine gives out 3 acoustic signals (3 short
ones and 1 long one). Release the button.
The
button blinks: the machine is ready to
start the descaling cycle.
Press the button once to start the descaling cycle. The machine gives out a long acoustic signal
to indicate that the cycle has started.
The espresso button blinks alternately. Water is dispensed intermit-
tently from the brew group (duration: 14 minutes).

The machine gives out a repeated acoustic signal to indicate that the descaling phase is over. The
icon blinking slowly indicates that the machine is ready for the circuit rinse phase, which is meant to
remove any descaling solution residue.
Remove and thoroughly wash the tank. Fill it
with 0.9 l of fresh water (up to the MAX level).
