Wanneer ‘AF-ON’ of ‘AF-AUTO’ is
geselecteerd, controleert het toestel
voortdurend de signaalsterkte en
schakelt, wanneer een sterker
signaal beschikbaar is, over op een
alternatieve frequentie. De
geluidsweergave wordt onderbroken
terwijl het toestel de lijst met
alternatieve frequenties controleert
en, zo nodig, de golfband eenmaal
afzoekt naar een alternatieve
frequentie.
Wanneer een radiostation wordt
gevonden wordt de geluidsweergave
hervat; wanneer er geen radiostation
wordt gevonden, stemt het systeem
automatisch af op de oorspronkelijke
frequentie. Bij sommige typen
verschijnt dan ‘Not Found’ op het
display.
Wanneer ‘AF-MAN’ is geselecteerd,
werkt het toestel op dezelfde wijze
als wanneer ‘AFAUTO’ of ‘AF-ON’ is
geselecteerd, maar het zoekt alleen
naar een alternatieve frequentie
wanneer op een voorkeuzetoets
wordt gedrukt.
Wanneer ‘AF-OFF’ is geselecteerd,
blijft het toestel op de oorspronkelijke
frequentie afgestemd. Bij deze
instelling wordt telkens wanneer het
toestel wordt ingeschakeld ‘AF-OFF’
op het display weergegeven.

• Druk op de MENU toets en
gebruik de op/neer pijltjestoetsen
om een ‘AF’ display te selecteren.
• Druk op de links/rechts
pijltjestoetsen om het gewenste
instelling te selecteren.
• Druk op de MENU toets om uw
keuze te bevestigen.
Alle overige toestellen
behalve de 2050
• Houd de MENU toets ingedrukt
tot het display verandert.
• Druk meerdere keren op de
MENU toets tot een 'AF' display
verschijnt.
• Druk op de SEEK toets of de
links/rechts pijltjestoetsen om het
gewenste station te selecteren.
2050
• Druk kort op de AF toets om AF
in te schakelen.
• Herhaal de bovenstaande
handeling om AF uit te schakelen.
