• Keep the battery away from water and

other liquids. Contact with liquids can

damage the protective circuit and the

battery’s protective mechanism. This

• Do not clean the battery with a

high-pressure cleaner. Use a damp

cloth for cleaning and do not use ag-

gressive cleaning products.

• If fumes escape due to improper use or

damage, seek fresh air and consult a

doctor if symptoms occur.

• The battery must be fully fastened in

the holder before you begin your jour-

ney. Otherwise, there is a risk that the

battery will fall out during the journey.

• Do not allow the battery to discharge

fully. This can lead to irreversible cell

damage.

• Please inform yourself of the applica-

ble regulations for transporting your

pedelec, e.g. by car.

• This battery is only suitable for use with

FLYER electric bicycle motors. There is

ariskofinjuryandreifitisusedim-

properly or handled incorrectly. FLYER

shall not be held liable for damage cau-

sed by improper use.

• Never mail a battery yourself! Batteries

are classed as hazardous goods. Only

mail your pedelec’s battery via your spe-

cialist dealer. Under certain conditions,

itmayoverheatandcatchre.

• The battery must not be disposed of in

domestic waste. The seller will take it

back and dispose of it properly.

• The battery may indicate faults via

ashingLEDs.Pleaserefertotheer-

ror table in Chapter 5.9.2
