4. Use
P3: HEART RATE CONTROL (HRC)
With this program you can train by using your heart rate
1. Press the HRC button to select the Heart Rate Controlled program.
2. There are 4 different heart rate controlled programs:
- THR (Target Heart Rate)
- MHR 65 (65% of the Maximum Heart Rate), for burning fat.
- MHR 75 (75% of the Maximum Heart Rate), for burning fat & improving stamina.
- MHR 85 (85% of the Maximum Heart Rate), for improving stamina.
Select one of these heart rate controlled programs with the +/- keys and confirm
with ENTER.
3. Enter your weight with the speed +/- keys and confirm with ENTER.
4. Enter the training duration with the speed +/- keys and confirm with ENTER.
5. Enter your age with the speed +/- keys and confirm with ENTER.
6. For the THR program you can set a preferred heart rate. The heart rate in the MHR
program is calculated by your age. Confirm with ENTER.
7. Enter the starting speed and press START.
8. De workout will start. Every 30 seconds the program measures your heart rate
and compares it with the entered heart rate, it will automatically adjust the speed
and / or incline to maintain the selected heart rate.
P4: body Index
The following indexes will by calculated by using your personal information and
heart rate:
- BFR: Body Fat Ratio, healthy: 15~25% for males, 20~30% for females.
- BMI: Body Mass Index:
19 - 25: Healthy weight
25 - 27: Slightly overweight
27 - 30: Overweight
30 - 40: Obese
- BMR: Basal Metabolic Rate: your calorie needs in rest.
1. Press the BODY INDEX button to select the program.
2. The screen shows an image of a male and female. Use the +/- keys to select your
gender and press ENTER to confirm the selection.
3. Enter your age with the speed +/- keys and confirm with ENTER.
4. Enter your weight with the speed +/- keys and confirm with ENTER.
5. Enter your height with the speed +/- keys and confirm with ENTER.
6. The test will start: hold the heart rate sensors during this test. The screen will
show the BFR / BMI / BMR for 15 seconds after a training.
