Instellen met je pc (Windows 8.1 en eerdere versies)
Als je geen compatibele telefoon of tablet hebt, kun je je tracker instellen met een computer
en je statistieken bekijken op fitbit.com. Om deze instellingsmethode te gebruiken, installeer
je eerst een gratis softwaretoepassing genaamd Fitbit Connect waarmee Alta zijn gegevens
kan synchroniseren met je fitbit.com-dashboard. Om je Alta in te stellen en te
synchroniseren, moet je de draadloze synchronisatiedongle gebruiken die in de doos met je
Alta werd meegeleverd.
Om Fitbit Connect te installeren en je tracker in te stellen:
1.
Ga naar http://www.fitbit.com/setup.
2.
Scrol naar beneden en klik op de optie om te downloaden voor Windows.
3.
Sla het bestand dat wordt weergegeven op als je daarom wordt gevraagd.
4.
Zoek en dubbelklik op het bestand om het installatieprogramma
te openen (FitbitConnect.exe).
5.
Klik op Continue om door het installatieprogramma te gaan.
6.
Kies Set up a New Fitbit Device als je hierom wordt gevraagd.
7.
Volg de instructies op het scherm om een Fitbit-account aan te maken of meld je
aan op je bestaande account.
8.
Ga verder met het volgen van de instructies op het scherm om verbinding te maken of Alta “te
koppelen” aan
je computer. Het koppelen zorgt ervoor dat de tracker en computer met elkaar
kunnen communiceren (onderling gegevens synchroniseren).
Wanneer je klaar bent met instellen, begeleidt Fitbit je door een introductie tot Alta en neemt
je mee naar het fitbit.com-dashboard.
Instellen met je Mac
