Solving operating problems
Filling continuously
Ensure drain hose is located in standpipe or tub.
Ensure standpipe or tub is at least 800 mm high so machine is not siphoning.
Poor rinsing
Are you using low sudsing, front loader detergent?
Are you overdosing your detergent?
Has the load gone out of balance?
Select the RINSE+ option.
Not spinning properly
Ensure load is not out of balance.
Check machine is level and does not rock in any direction (refer to page 4).
Ensure machine does not have suds build-up.
Too many soap suds
Ensure that you are using a low suds or HE detergent.
Try using a little less detergent, especially if garments are only lightly soiled or there are not
many items in the wash.
Small puddle of water coming from under machine
Check the inlet hoses and drain hose for damage or leaking?
Were there a lot of suds? These may have leaked and then dissolved.
The detergent dispenser may be blocked (refer to page 26).
Ensure the detergent dispenser drawer is fully closed.
Check the seal inside the door for any damage. If it sustains any damage it will need to
be replaced.
Wash cycle time longer than usual / Inaccurate time remaining / Adjustment of time
remaining during the cycle
Wash cycle time is approximate and may be affected by a number of factors (refer to page 14).
If water pressure or flow rate is low, cycle time will increase due to longer fill times. Ensure that
inlet hose filters are not blocked.
The out of balance and oversudsing recovery will extend the cycle time (refer to page 15).
Various options selected or washing a particularly large load may take the washer longer
than expected.
This does not affect the functionality of the wash.
