Always switch off the saw before disconnecting or
connecting the battery unit.
• To remove the battery unit, press both release
buttons simultaneously and pull the battery unit from
the saw.
• Before inserting the battery pack into the saw, always
make sure that the On/Off switch operates correctly
and returns to the Off position when released (see
Figure D).
• To connect the battery unit, locate the ridge on the
battery unit casing into the groove in the saw casing
and push the battery unit in. When battery unit
connects correctly, you should hear an audible click.
• Do not use force in connecting the battery. The
battery unit must engage easily into the saw.

• Insert the battery unit (2) into the charger (1), as
shown in the diagram. Make sure that you observe the
correct polarity according to the markings, + and -.
• Connect the charger plug to the electric socket. The
red, quick charging light is now lit.
• As soon as the green light shows, charging is
complete. The battery unit is now ready for use.
Use the battery charger only in a dry environment
and at an ambient temperature between 10 ˚C
and 40 ˚C.
The battery unit of your cordless saw is delivered
uncharged by the factory. Before using for the first time,
the battery unit must be charged for approx. 1 - 2 hours
to reach its full charge.
The total capacity of the battery unit will be available
after 4 - 5 charging/discharging cycles.
