how to operate it. Maintain the machine in accordance
with the instructions to make sure it functions properly.

the machine.
When using electric machines always observe the
safety regulations applicable in your country to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal
injury. Read the following safety instructions and
also the enclosed safety instructions.
BEFORE USING THE OMNISAW
• Check the voltage of the motor and the motor over-
load (if any) correspond:
Do the voltage of the engine and the engine safe-
guard, if any, correspond to the mains voltage
(appliances for a mains voltage of 230 V).
Are the mains lead and the mains plug in a good condi-
tion: solid, without any loose ends or damage.
• Remove adjusting keys or wrenches before turning
the tool on.
• Always wear eye protection when using the tool.
• Maintain the tool with care.
• Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts, and any other condition that may
affect the tools operation. If damaged, have the tool
serviced before using.
• Use only accessories that are recommended by the
manufacturer for your model.
• Compare the maximum number of revolutions allo-
wed of the accessories with the number of revolu-
tions of the machine.
• Make sure that the spring chuck diameter is the same
as the axle diameter of the accessory.
• The flutes of the bits (cutting edges and top) are very
sharp. Therefore, handle with caution.
USING THE MACHINE
• Use clamps or a vice to hold the work.
• Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it
"ON" or "OFF".
• Always hold the tool with two hands while starting.
• Hold the tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where the bit may contact
hidden wiring. If cutting into existing walls or other
blind areas is unavoidable, disconnect all fuses or cir-
cuit breakers to the worksite.
• Always keep the cord away from the moving parts of
the machine.
